Puro Radio Amigo 95.9 FM was created to bring authentic Regional Mexican programming to the airwaves, featuring the voices and music that truly represent our people. Whether listeners are working in the fields, driving across town, or relaxing at home, our goal is simple: to inform, entertain, and uplift with the sounds they love and the voices they trust. More than a station, Puro Radio Amigo is the voice of the community—made by the people, for the people.
We are Spanish-language radio station based in Yuma, Arizona, proudly serving the Hispanic community across Yuma County, San Luis, and northern Mexico since 2009. Our station is known for its vibrant Regional Mexican music, engaging on-air personalities, and deep cultural connection to our audience. Led by veteran radio host El Pepetón—a graduate of the Columbia School of Broadcasting in Hollywood, California—and supported by a talented team including El Terrible, Rafa Peniche, El Compa Mike, and Isaac Domínguez, we bring decades of radio experience and heart to everything we do.
Led by José "El Pepetón" Vásquez, our morning programming airs from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. But the heart of our station is bigger than one voice. Based in Yuma, Arizona, our team includes announcers, audio editors, and promotional support specialists, all deeply connected to the local Hispanic community. Every member plays a key role in delivering relevant, entertaining, and culturally rich content every day. Together, we create a strong on-air presence and build lasting relationships with our listeners and advertisers.
Reach thousands of loyal, engaged listeners across Yuma County and beyond with authentic, effective radio and digital promotions.
